The Royal British Legion will be conducting a Remembrance Day Parade in Pinchbeck on Sunday, 10th November 2024, with the marshalling of road closures being carried out by Pinchbeck Parish Council.
Local road closures that will be taking place at various times during the morning and early afternoon on Remembrance Day, Sunday 10th November.
1. The first closure will commence at 10.15hrs when the parade makes it way from Bear Lane to St Mary’s Church. The roads will reopen at around 10.45hrs.
2. The next closure occurs at around 12:15hrs for about 5 minutes, following the church service at St Mary’s Church, when the congregation and other attendees cross Church Street to get to the War Memorial.
3. The final closure marks the parade’s return from the War Memorial to the Village Hall on Bear Lane. This will take place at around 12:15hrs until about 12:30hrs.
For your information, under Highways’ legislation, only emergency vehicles are permitted to access closed roads.
