January 2021 Minutes Budget Meeting (25th)

PINCHBECK PARISH COUNCIL BUDGET MEETING

COUN. J. Avery presided at the meeting of the Parish Council Annual Budget Meeting held on Monday 25th January 2021 via Zoom commencing at 7.30 p.m.

Attending were:

Coun. Mrs. S. Jeffery
Coun. Mrs. A. Savage
Coun. Mrs. E. Beavis
Coun. A. Chamberlain
Coun. D. Dickens
Coun. O. Wood
together with Clerk Mrs. Barbara Camps

Due to the following Agenda Items being of Contractual nature the Parish Council would go in to Closed Session, therefore excluding the press and the public:    Agenda Item  4  -  Employee Salary Reviews

1.   APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

Apologies for absence received from Coun. Mrs. L. Andrew, Coun. Mrs. A. Gregory, Coun. J. Allen and Coun. D. Houghton

2.  DECLARATION OF INTEREST FROM MEMBERS

Coun. Mrs. E. Beavis declared that although she did not have any pecuniary interest, she would not take part in the discussion within the Budget details relating to St. Mary’s Churchyard trees.

3.  BUDGET/SETTING OF PRECEPT – 2021-2022

The following considered and approved for inclusion in 2021/2022 Budget as follows:

4.  PARISH COUNCIL EMPLOYEE SALARY REVIEWS

6.  TO SET PRECEPT FOR 2021-2022 FINANCIAL YEAR

Based on figures presented to members for the Budget 2021-2022 the Expenditure of £142,748.72 exceeded Income of £35,887.02 by £106,861.70.   It was proposed by Coun. Mrs. S. Jeffery and seconded by Coun, J. Avery that in light of current local/global circumstances due to Covid, the precept be reduced from the previous year and be set at £106,861.00 and therefore this be requested from South Holland District Council for the Financial Year 2021-2022.  Agreed.

7.  PLANNING APPLICATIONS

The following planning application was recommended for approval:

H14-1147-20 –  Benner, Glenside South – Proposed Replacement Dwelling – Outline Planning

There was no further business before the meeting and it therefore concluded at 9.00 p.m.
