AGENDA

26.005.To note members’ attendance and to receive apologies for absence.

26.006.To receive any declarations of pecuniary interests or other disclosable interests, and any written requests for dispensation.

26.007.To receive representations from members of the public [i].

26.008.To approve the minutes of the meeting held on Monday, 08 December 2025, and the minutes of the extraordinary meeting held on Monday, 05 January 2026, and to authorise the Chair to sign them as a true record.

26.009.To receive the Clerk’s report and note progress on actions arising from previous decisions.

26.010.To consider financial matters:

i.To approve the December 2025 bank reconciliation and cash book.

ii.To ratify payments made to 31 December 2025 as previously delegated to the Chair and Vice-Chair.

iii.To approve payments to 26 January 2026.

iv.To consider the draft Budget for the financial year 2026–27.

v.To set the precept for the financial year 2026–27.

26.011.Noticeboard at Six House Bank:

i.To note that a Letter Before Claim has been issued to Willow Tree Joinery requiring payment by the stated deadline.

ii.To authorise the Clerk, in default of payment by the deadline, to issue County Court proceedings and pay the applicable court fee.

iii.To review the requirement for a noticeboard at this location.

26.012.To consider recent correspondence.

26.013.To consider planning applications.

26.014.To note District Council planning decisions.

26.015.To consider highways’ matters.

26.016.To consider the appointment of newly co-opted councillors to existing Parish Council committees.

26.017.To receive committee reports and consider recommendations.

26.018.To resolve that the public and press be excluded from the meeting on the grounds of confidentiality in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.1(2), for the following items:

i.To consider quotes for works (confidential negotiation proposals).

ii.To consider matters relating to Parish Council land (confidential negotiation proposals).

iii.To consider cemetery matters (confidential individual personal matters).

iv.To consider staffing & administration matters (confidential employment or personal matters).

a.To receive an update on office staff appraisals completed for the 2025–26 year.

b.Other staffing & administration matters.

Raise your hand to speak and wait for the chair’s invitation. Questions will not necessarily receive an immediate response or initiate a debate. Further public commentary will not be permitted during the remainder of the meeting.
