Notice is hereby given, and all members of the Council are summoned to attend an Extraordinary Meeting of the Parish Council to be held at 19:30 on Thursday, 29 January 2026 at Pinchbeck Hub & Library.

To transact the business set out in the agenda below.

This notice is given in accordance with Schedule 12, paragraph 10(2)(a) of the Local Government Act 1972.

AGENDA

1.To note members’ attendance and to receive apologies for absence.

2.To receive declarations of disclosable pecuniary interests and other registerable interests, and to consider any requests for dispensations.

3.To resolve that the public and press be excluded from the meeting in accordance with section 1(2) of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960, because publicity would be prejudicial to the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business to be transacted, namely consideration of legally privileged advice and the Parish Council’s negotiating/litigation position in relation to Glebe Field / Pinchbeck United Limited (Local Government Act 1972, Schedule 12A, paragraph 5 (and paragraph 3 where applicable)).

Glebe Field / Pinchbeck United Limited – licence of occupation (confidential legal and negotiation matters): To consider and, if thought fit, RESOLVE to instruct the Parish Council’s solicitors to prepare and serve, on behalf of the Parish Council, a notice to terminate the licence of occupation held by Pinchbeck United Limited over the entirety of Glebe Field, such notice to be served no later than 31 January 2026, and to authorise the solicitors to settle final form and effect service in accordance with the licence notice provisions.
