January 2022 Minutes Budget Meeting (18th)
PINCHBECK PARISH COUNCIL BUDGET MEETING
COUN. MRS. A. SAVAGE presided at the meeting of the Parish Council on Tuesday 18th January 2022 held at the Pinchbeck Community Hub & Library, Knight Street, Pinchbeck commencing at 7.30 p.m.

The meeting was being audio recorded.
Due to the following Agenda Item being of Contractual nature the Parish Council would go in to Closed Session, therefore excluding the press and the public: Agenda Item 4 - Employee Salary Reviews
1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies for absence received from Coun. J. Avery (attending meeting at SHDC), Coun. R. Dobbs and Coun. Mrs. L. Andrew
2. DECLARATION OF INTEREST FROM MEMBERS
None were registered
3. BUDGET/SETTING OF PRECEPT – 2022-2023
Coun. Mrs. S. Jeffery steered the proceedings regarding the analysis of the draft budget to which she had been involved in the preparation of. It was agreed upon the proposition of Coun. Mrs. S. Jeffery and seconded by Coun. Mrs. A. Savage that the following additional costs be approved for inclusion in 2022/2023 Budget as follows:
a) Additional Funds for Blue Gowt Cemetery – Additional Reserves |

d) Pinchbeck Get’s Active – Summer Holidays |

4. PARISH COUNCIL EMPLOYEE SALARY REVIEWS

5. TO SET PRECEPT FOR 2022-2023 FINANCIAL YEAR
Based on figures presented to members for the Budget 2022-2023, the Expenditure of £144,284.00 exceeded Income of £41,784.00 by £102,500. It was proposed by Coun. Mrs. S. Jeffery and seconded by Coun. Mrs. A. Savage that the precept be set at £102,500.00 giving a 4.1% reduction in the precept from the previous financial year 2021-2022. Agreed.
6. PLANNING APPLICATIONS
There were no planning applications before the meeting.
There was no further business before the meeting and it therefore concluded at 8.30 p.m.
