PINCHBECK PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
COUN. J. AVERY presided at the meeting of the Parish Council on Monday 21st March 2022 held at the Pinchbeck Community Hub & Library, Knight Street, Pinchbeck commencing at 7.30 p.m.

5. CORRESPONDENCE
From SHDC Planning & Tree determinations received since last meeting.
6. NEW BLUE GOWT CEMETERY – UPDATE
Several works completed on the field: Field is now clear
Dyke now realigned by Welland & Deepings Internal Drainage Board
Trees removed as agreed
Agreed New Cemetery Committee to compare all quotations received.
7. THE QUEEN’S PLATINUM JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS – JUNE 2022
Committee are moving forging ahead with plans for the celebrations:
Thursday evening, lighting of the beacon and singing. Pavanotti is Master of Ceremonies
Saturday afternoon/early evening on Glebe Field, Pinchbeck Parish Council
8. MEMORIAL GROUND FENCING/RAILINGS
Agreed to investigate sources for provision of Memorial metal railings incorporating Remembrance poppies.
9. ALLOTMENT RENT REVIEW

10. HIGHWAYS/TRAFFIC MATTERS
Two new speed cameras have been placed on order
The police are operating regular speed checks along Six House Bank.
Clerk to request new STOP signs at junction Money Bridge Lane and Cross Lane to discourage drivers over-shooting the Northgate road.
11. DEFIBRILLATOR – WEST PINCHBECK/BAPTIST CHURCH/CHURCH HALL
Three defibrillators are ordered with funds sourced from Pinchbeck Parish Council, three District Councillors: Councillor Elizabeth Sneath, Councillor Sally Slade and Councillor James Avery with a contribution from Mrs. Julie Collins from Herring Lane Cake Bakers.
12. UPDATE ON DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION OF NEW PLAY EQUIPMENT
Delivery and installation of new play equipment is scheduled for delivery mid-April with completion by mid-May 2022.
13. FINANCIAL REPORT/TO PASS ACCOUNTS
It was proposed by Coun. J. Avery and seconded by Coun. R. Dobbs that the the Financial Report be accepted. Agreed.

14. AOB
Concern raised re traffic being grid-locked due to proposed works by Network Rail together with the development of up to 4,000 houses to be built.
Coun. Mrs. S. Jeffery requested that staff salary reviews be an agenda item for next meeting.

The following planning applications were recommended for approval:
