1.To note members’ attendance and to receive apologies for absence.

2.To receive any declarations of pecuniary interests or other disclosable interests, or any written requests to grant a dispensation.

3.To receive representations from members of the public[i].

4.To approve the minutes of the annual meeting held on Monday, 19 May 2025.

5.To receive the chairman’s report.

6.To receive the clerk’s report/matters arising from the last meeting.

7.To consider financial matters.

i.To approve the May 2025 bank reconciliation and cash book.

ii.To approve payments to 23 June 2025..

iii.To receive the draft minutes of the last Finance Committee meeting.

iv.To receive the final internal auditor’s report for y/e 31/03/2025.

v.To receive the annual internal audit certificate y/e 31/03/2025 (AGAR page 3 of 6).

vi.Considering each statement in turn, to agree and approve responses to the annual governance statement y/e 31/03/2025 (AGAR page 4 of 6).

vii.To approve the annual accounting statements y/e 31/03/2025 (AGAR page 5 of 6).

viii.To approve the explanation of variances y/e 31/03/2025.

ix.To reappoint LALC as the internal auditor for the financial y/e 31/03/2025.

8.To consider recent correspondence.

9.To consider consultation on National Grid upgrade, Weston Marsh to East Leicestershire.

10.To consider planning applications.

11.To note District Council planning decisions.

12.To consider Highways’ matters / Traffic Strategy

i.To consider the latest concerns about HGV routing in the area.

13.To consider committee reports and recommendations.

14.To resolve to move into closed session on the grounds of confidentiality in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.1(2)

15.To consider quotes for works.

16.To consider matters relating to Parish Council land.

17.To consider staffing & administration matters


[i] 15 minutes are reserved for members of the public to make short statements or ask about issues. Each speaker has a 3-minute limit. Raise your hand to speak and wait for the chair’s invitation. Questions will not require a reply nor start a debate. Further public commentary is not allowed during the meeting.
