AGENDA
1. To note members’ attendance and to receive apologies for absence.
2. To receive declarations of pecuniary or other interests, and requests for dispensation.
3. To approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on 12 January 2026.
4. To review the financial position for the year ended 31 March 2026, including income, expenditure and reserves, and to make any recommendations to the Parish Council.
5. To consider year-end financial matters arising, including any proposed earmarked reserve movements, budget carry forwards, or other recommendations to support completion of the 2025/26 year-end process.
6. To review the effectiveness of the Parish Council’s system of internal control, including financial controls, risk management and governance arrangements, for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, and to make any recommendations to the Parish Council.
7. To receive an update on the current position of the internal audit for 2025/26.
8. To receive an update on completion of the annual accounts, internal audit and AGAR 2025/26 timetable, and to consider and recommend to the Parish Council the proposed dates for the 2025/26 period for the exercise of public rights.
9. To agree the date of the next Finance Committee meeting.
10. To resolve, if required, to move into closed session on the grounds of confidentiality, in accordance with the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 s.1(2)
11. To consider confidential matters (if any).
